Odisha BSE result 2022: 8,119 students secured A1 grade

  • As many as 8,119 students have secured A1 grade and 54,889 got A2 grade. Two schools in Malkangiri district and one in Angul recorded zero results, the Minister informed.

  • The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Wednesday announced result of the much awaited annual high school certificate (HSC) offline examinations. As per the BSE, 90.55 per cent students have passed the Matric or the class 10 exam.

BSE Odisha Matric result 2022: Know methods adopted this year to award marks

  • For this year, the BSE had adopted three methods for awarding marks to the students. Two of those were alternate methods of assessment while another was a new scheme of assessment. 

    Under the first method, the evaluation was done on the basis of scores achieved in Summative Assessment-I, Internal Assessment while the marks obtained in Summative Assessment-II was considered in another method.

    The third method of evaluation was done giving 20 per cent weightage to Internal Assessment, 30 per cent to Summative Assessment-I and 50 per cent to Summative Assessment-II. And then, the highest scores obtained by a student in any of the above three methods was considered as the final marks.

Odisha Class 10 result: Know what students and parents are expecting

  • "We had prepared well for the exam and expecting good results," said a class 10 student from Bhubaneswar.

    "I expect more than 90 per cent and highest marks in English paper,"said a student from Jeypore.

    "We wanted the BSE to conduct the exam so that we could get as per our ability and preparation. Besides, we hope no glitches, of any type, mar the result announcment process," said a student from Balasore. 

    Another student said, "Though I expect more than 90 per cent, fear and a bit anxiety is still there as to what would be the final result and how the entire evaluation would have been done...."

    "It was a tough time for students to appear for students amid the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope there will be a fair announcement," said a parent.

Odisha BSE Class 10 result at 1 pm today

  • The BSE will announce the Matric or the class 10 result at 1 pm. The result will be available on the website within one hour of the publication of the results or by 2 pm.
