New Delhi: The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) had invited applications on June 10, 2018 from talented and motivated Indian nationals willing to contribute towards nation building to join the Government at the level of Joint Secretary in ten different Ministries/Departments of the Government of India on contract basis.
The task of selection of suitable candidates from those who had applied was entrusted to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on October 29, 2018.
The UPSC launched Detailed Application Form (DAF) on December 11, 2018 with closing date as January 1, 2019 and detailed information was collected from all those applicants who had applied in response to DoPT advertisement.
On the basis of the Detailed Application Form (DAF) submitted by the candidates, the Union Public Service Commission has shortlisted the candidates to be called for interview to the posts under reference.
The modalities adopted for shortlisting and the list of shortlisted/provisionally shortlisted candidates have been made available in the public domain on the official website of the Commission (www.upsc.gov.in) on February 15, 2019.
