Good news for all the job aspirants. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification for recruitment of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators through Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2019. The last date to apply for the vacancies is January 10, 2020.
Age Limit: Applicants' age should be between 18 and 27 years as on January 1, 2020. However, there is relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwD (10 years). For details, see notification below.
Application Fee: Rs 100 for General and OBC candidates. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Pay Scale:
1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs 19,900-63,200).
2. Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA): Pay Level-4 (Rs 25,500-81,100).
3. Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4 (Rs 25,500-81,100) and
4. Data Entry Operator, Grade A: Pay Level-4 (Rs 25,500-81,100).
