New Delhi: In a major notification, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has mentioned that it has included a few things as the eligibility condition of candidates who have applied for the post of Sub-Inspector (Fire).
As requested by the department, the following conditions are included in the eligibility condition for the said post:
Physical Standard Test(PST)
(a) Height: (i) General Candidates – 170 cms.
(iii) Tribal’s/Adivasi’s including Mizos and Nagas – 162.5 cms.
(b)Chest: (i) General: 81-86 cms
(ii) Tribal’s/Adivasi including Mizos and Nagas: 77-82 cms
(c)Weight: Corresponding to height.
Other details pertaining to the above mentioned posts shall remain the same.
Note: The post is meant for Male candidates only and those who do not fulfill the above mentioned criteria will not be eligible for the post of Sub-Inspector (Fire).
