Applications for as many as 399 management trainee (technical) posts have been invited by the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). The candidates will be recruited on the basis of score obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The eligible candidates will be able to apply at the official websites, sail.co.in or sailcareers.com.
The advertisement regarding the vacancies for 142 posts was initially posted in May 2019, however, the number of vacancies has been revised now following which the application process has been reopened. The candidates who have already applied do not need to apply again.
The renewed application process was opened since November 25 and will close on December 15.
Age: Upper age limit is 28 years but there will be age relaxation for reserved category candidates. As per the government rules, there is age relaxation in the upper limit
Education: After clearing GATE, candidates need to appear for a written test followed by an interview to be eligible for the job.
Marks: At least 65 % marks in engineering degree.
Salary: A salary of Rs 9 lakh per year will be offered to the candidates.
