SAIL invites applications for 124 Management Trainee posts, check details here

The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has announced recruitment for 124 Management Trainee posts across various engineering disciplines. 

Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official website, sail.co.in, starting from November 15, 2025. The last date for submitting applications is December 5, 2025.

Vcancy Details

Under this recruitment drive, SAIL has opened positions in seven engineering disciplines: Chemical (5), Civil (14), Computer (4), Electrical (44), Instrumentation (7), Mechanical (30), and Metallurgy (20). The selected candidates will receive a salary in the pay scale of Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,60,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must possess a degree in Engineering with at least 65% marks (aggregate of all semesters), regardless of the weightage given to any specific year or semester by the respective institute or university.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 28 years as of December 5, 2025, meaning candidates should not have been born earlier than December 5, 1997. For departmental candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed to 45 years irrespective of their caste or category, with other age relaxations applicable as per government rules.

Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the General, OBC (NCL), and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,050. For SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and departmental candidates, the fee is Rs 300. The payment must be made online.
