'RRB Exam Dates' became the top trend on Twitter on Saturday after students in huge number started tweeting about it and called for 'Thali Bajo' on the occasion of Teachers' Day.
Alleging inordinate delay in the exam, appointment and other issues, students demanded to expedite the entire recruitment process. And to support the cause, they called for the 'Thali Bajo' campaign today.
"Today at 5 PM for 5 minutes, play thaali and clap for 5 minutes in support of unemployed youth...," wrote a Twitterati.
"Long recruitment process. No waiting list. No results on time. No joining. Students wasting their career. #speakup #RRBExamDates," wrote another Twitterati.
As per reports, around 2.5 crore students had applied for various posts like NTPC and Group D exams in Indian Railways. However, the exams are yet to be conducted.
'Speak Up For SSC Railway Students' also continues to trend as students demand to expedite the recruitment process.
