The West Central Railway has invited applications for the positions of Apprentices which includes fitter, welder, electrician, computer operator and program assistant, painter, etc. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to apply for the positions as the process of submission of application has already begun.
The last date for submission of application is February 26, 2020.
Apprentice Posts and Vacancies:
- Fitter- 50
- Electrician- 60
- Welder- 20
- Painter- 30
- Light Motor Vehicle- 05
- Secretarial Assistant- 05
- Computer Operator and Programming Assistant- 10
- CNC Programmer cum Operator- 10
- Mechanic Repair and Maintenance of Vehicle- 10
Medical Requirements: A candidate should not be suffering from any contagious or infectious disease which is likely to be aggravated by service or is likely to render him/her unfit for service or endanger the health of the public. S/he should also be free from evidence of tuberculosis in any form, active or healed.
Candidates should also satisfy the minimum standards of Height, Weight and Chest:
- Height- 137 cm
- Weight- 25.4 kg
- Chest Expansion- Should not be less than 3.8 cm
Educational Qualification: A candidate applying for the positions should have passed 10th with 50% marks and possess ITI in Fitter Trade.
Age Limit: Applicants' age should be between 15 years and 24 years as on November 5, 2020. For details with regard to age relaxation, candidates are advised to check the official notification below.
Pay Scale: The pay scale of selected candidates will be as per norms.
