ONGC announces hiring for 2,623 apprentice posts; check key details here

ONGC has released an official notification inviting online applications for the recruitment of 2,623 Apprentice posts across various sectors in India. 

Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official ONGC website at ongcindia.com before November 6, 2025.

The recruitment is open for various trades and disciplines under both NAPS and NATS apprenticeship schemes.

Eligibility Criteria

The required educational qualifications vary by post and include 10th pass, ITI, Diploma, B.Com, B.Sc, Graduate, and Engineering degrees.

Age Limit

Candidates applying for the ONGC Apprenticeship 2025 should be between 18 and 24 years of age as on November 6, 2025, with the date of birth falling between November 6, 2001 and November 6, 2007. The upper age limit is relaxed by five years for SC/ST candidates, three years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, and up to ten years for PwBD candidates (fifteen years for SC/ST and thirteen years for OBC).

Pay Scale

Graduate Apprentice: Rs 12,300

Three-year Diploma Apprentice: Rs 10,900

Trade Apprentices (10th/12th): Rs 8,200

ITI (One-year duration): Rs 9,600

ITI (Two-year duration): Rs 10,560

Selection Process and Key Dates

Selection will be based purely on merit, determined by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be given preference. The results will be announced on November 26, 2025.
