Food Corporation of India (FCI) had earlier released a recruitment notification inviting applications for the positions of General Duty Medical Officer.
Interested and eligible candidates must apply for the positions today to avoid last hour rush as February 24 is the last date to apply.
Applications are invited from doctors who have retired from Central Govt/State Government/PSU for filling up of vacant posts in Food Corporation of India, New Delhi, Noida, Kolkata on a purely temporary and contractual basis, read the official notification.

Name of Post: General Duty Medical Officer
Age Limit
Candidates applying need to be below 65 years. Upper age limit for making application is 64 years on closing date (last date of application).
Educational Qualification
The minimum qualification required for the FCI positions is MBBS Degree.
Remuneration
A consolidated amount of Rs 80,000 per month for General Duty Medical Officer. Private practice in any form is not allowed.
Duration of Appointment
The appointment will be initially for a period of 01 year and it is extendable by another year.
Preference
Doctors who have worked in FCI/CGHS shall be preferred.
