Educational Qualifications
- Professor: A medical Qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the Act.) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
M.Ch. for surgical Super Specialities and D.M. for Medical Super Specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto). - Additional Professor- Same as for Professor (Medical) with additional qualifications.
- Associate Professor- Same as for Professor (Medical) with additional qualifications.
- Assistant Professor- Same as for Professor (Medical) with additional qualifications.
Salary
- Professor- Minimum pay of Rs.1,68,900 per month
- Additional Professor- Rs 1,48,200 per month
- Associate Professor- Rs 1,38,300 per month
- Assistant Professor- Rs.1,01,500 per month
Age Limit
- Professor/Additional Professor: The candidate should not exceed 58 years of age.
- Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor: The candidate should not exceed 50 years of age.
Application Fee
Candidates belonging to Unreserved/OBC/EWS category will have to pay Rs. 1,000 while the SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from the payment of registration fee. However, the application fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
Note: Last Date of the submission of online application is 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News/Rojgar Samachar. The candidature of such applicant who fails to complete the online application submission by the stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
