During President Vladimir Putin’s visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered a specially curated collection of gifts, each reflecting India’s rich culture, craftsmanship, and timeless traditions.

Here’s what President Putin received:

•    Assam Black Tea: A GI-tagged tea known for its strong malty flavour and bright colour, representing the lush Brahmaputra plains and India’s tea legacy.

•    Ornate Silver Tea Set: Handcrafted in Murshidabad with fine engravings, symbolising the shared cultural bond over tea and the longstanding India–Russia friendship.

•    Silver Horse Sculpture: An artisanal creation from Maharashtra, embodying dignity, strength, and the forward-moving spirit of India–Russia ties.

•    Marble Chess Set: Crafted in Agra with traditional inlay work using marble, wood, and semi-precious stones — blending beauty with utility.

•    Kashmiri Saffron: The world-famous “red gold” known for its fragrance, flavour, and wellness benefits, showcasing Kashmir’s rich heritage.

•    Srimad Bhagavad Gita (Russian Edition): A revered text offering timeless teachings on duty, ethics, and spiritual wisdom — shared in a language accessible to Russian readers.
