Bhubaneswar AIIMS security guard terminated over rape charge 

A security guard engaged at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar was terminated on Monday following serious allegations of rape and misbehaviour levelled against him. 

The accused security guard has been identified as Manoj Sahu. The security supervisor took action against Sahu. 

According to reports, a woman had alleged that when her husband was undergoing treatment at AIIMS and she was attending him, Sahu raped her on the pretext of providing facilities like getting her tickets and her husband’s tests done.

She had lodged a complaint against Sahu at the police station but didn’t get justice. She then knocked on the door of the Odisha State Women Commission. 

Registering a case, the Commission had directed that Sahu should be produced before the panel immediately.
