Once again the Vigilance officials were taken aback after detecting assets worth crores following raid on another government official in Odisha. This time, Deputy Director of Mines (DDM) Talcher, Dharanidhar Nayak is under Vigilance scanner over allegations of possession of disproportionate assets (DA).
On Monday, Vigilance teams conducted simultaneous searches on the properties linked to the deputy director of mines, Talcher.
To the surprise, the Vigilance has so far has detected a 3 BHK flat worth Rs 1.30 crore and a duplex in Bhubaneswar.
Here is a list of what the Talcher deputy director of mines owns:
One 3-BHK flat ( Surekha Orchid at Sisu Vihar), Patia, Bhubaneswar worth approximately Rs.1.30 crore.
One duplex with an area of 1800 Sqft at Sundarpada, Bhubaneswar.
One double storey market complex consisting of 15 shops (9 shops on the ground floor and 6 shops on the 1st floor) of the building located at Badinali Sinkulabahal, Keonjhar.
Another market complex building consisting of four shops adjacent to the double storey market complex at Jagmohanpur, Keonjhar. As many as 9 plots including 2 plots in prime area of Bhubaneswar and rest 7 plots in Telkoi, Keonjhar.
Rs 9,83,800 cash (Rs.5,58,800 from Patia flat and Rs.4,25,000 detected during search at Talcher house).
