New Delhi: A 38-year-old woman swine flu patient, admitted at a city hospital for over a week, had succumbed to the disease becoming the fifth fatality in the capital, health officials said Friday. Five fresh cases were also reported, taking the number of affected to 36.

The woman was a resident of Uttam Nagar in west Delhi and admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in central Delhi Jan 4.
