Actor Lakshya Lalwani made an impressive debut in the action-packed thriller ‘Kill,’ garnering praise for his portrayal of the complex character Amrit.
In an interview with India Today, Lakshya shared his experiences working on the film and highlighted a memorable compliment from fellow actor Vicky Kaushal.
Lakshya revealed that Vicky’s words, “Every punch had an emotion behind it,” were the best compliment he received from industry peers. He also shared his current obsession with Kaushal’s song ‘Tauba Tauba’ from the upcoming movie ‘Bad Newz,’ alongside a song from his own movie, ‘Kill.’
When asked about compliments he dislikes, Lakshya mentioned, “When someone says I am hot.” Expressing his desire to explore different genres, he added that he wants to try his hand at romance in his next project.
Meanwhile, in an interview with ANI, Lakshya Lalwani opened up about getting into the big screen from Television.
“I feel I have finally achieved whatever I had hoped for in the past. I feel confident as an actor. I worked in TV for 6 years consecutively and took a break from my last show ‘Porus’. Then I had been giving auditions with Shanu Sharma for 6 months for a very different film, but things didn’t pan out. But Shanu Sharma said I could do it and then I gained confidence. Later, she told me to audition for Dharma and I met (Karan) Johar sir…. Shooting the film on the train was the biggest challenge. Multiple departments cannot work together in a single set. Everything that you see on the train is floatable, the walls, chairs, etc. It was like Transformers. It's like a technical case study as the whole thing was shot in service lighting. If you make this film a ‘hit’, we’ll make a second part,” said Lakshya.
Starring alongside Raghav Juyal, ‘Kill’ was co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga of Sikhya Entertainment. The film also features Tanya Maniktala and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles.
