OnePlus 6T Vs Apple X: Here’s What You Need To Know
Chinese premium smartphone brand OnePlus came up with its much-anticipated 6T priced at Rs 37,999 this September while Apple launched its iPhone X a year ago in September 2017 at Rs 89,999 (currently priced around Rs 79,999).
While both the smartphones have a different range in terms of price still they have been competitive of each other in the premium category.
OnePlus 6T has an immersive 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and is made from multiple layers of glass, including anti-glare coating and a texturised multi-layer film. The screen display has pixel density of 402 ppi with resolution at 1080 x 2280 pixels.
Apple iPhone X comes with 5.8-inch OLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a higher pixel density at 463 ppi with screen resolution at 1125 x 2436 pixels.
The OnePlus 6T has an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (2.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 385 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 385) chipset processor with 6/8 GB RAM and 64/128 GB storage.
Apple iPhone X has an hexa-core Apple A11 Bionic processor (2.39 GHz, dual core, Monsoon + 1.42 GHz, Quad core, Mistral) with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage.
The 6T has a bigger 3,700 mAh battery which provides a 20 per cent increased battery life compared to the previous-gen OnePlus 6. On the other hand, Apple iPhone X has a standard 2716 mAh battery.
Both the phones support quick charging.
The OnePlus 6T’s 16 mp front and 20 mp rear camera includes software optimisations and added features such as the “Nightscape” feature. It can capture pictures with astounding resolution of 4616 x 3464 pixels.
Apple iPhone X has 12 mp +12 mp rear dual camera and 7 mp front camera. The rear camera captures pictures in 4000 x 3000 pixels making them good enough.
While OnePlus 6T has a finger print scanner iPhone X doesn’t have one.
While Apple iPhone X is water resistant upto 30 meters, OnePlus 6T doesn’t come with water resistant feature.
Apple iPhone X is backed with the smooth iOS v11.0.1 while OnePlus 6T has Android v9.0 (pie) which is used in a few devices currently.
Apple has gone with its usual single SIM facility in iPhone X while 6T has dual SIM capacity.
