A Global Vision, A Strategic Shift

On Wednesday, Rocking Star Yash addressed fans directly on social media, explaining the reason behind the decision.

Further, the post read, "After years of dedicated labour, we were excited to share our film with you all on the 19th of March. However, the current uncertainty, especially in the Middle East, has created a situation that impacts our goal to reach and connect with the widest possible audience. Therefore, in the interest of our partners and our audience, we have made the difficult but carefully considered decision to reschedule our release."

The post concluded with, "We thank you for your understanding and patience and look forward to your continued love and support. Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups will now be released in cinemas across the globe in English and Indian languages on 4th June 2026. See you at the movies."

Star Power & Storytelling Ambition

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, and co-written by Yash himself, Toxic promises a bold narrative voice. The ensemble cast includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria. The teaser had already amplified excitement, unveiling new characters from the world of Toxic.

The recently released first single, Tabaahi, launched across languages, further intensified buzz. However, fans expressed disappointment as only the audio was unveiled — the much-anticipated video, reportedly featuring Raya and Nadia, is yet to drop.
