South Superstar Ajith Kumar was reportedly once warned by one of his close friends before the former took the biggest decision of his life. The person we are referring to is actor, comedian and director Ramesh Kanna.
Ramesh, who is counted as one of Ajith's close knit friends, revealed details of a funny conversation between him and Thala Ajith on the sets of the latter's 1999 blockbuster 'Amarkalam'.
Ramesh confessed that he once warned Ajith not to marry an actress but a homemaker as actresses do not tend to be good for making families and the relationship often leads to blunders like divorce. Little did he know then that Ajith was already in love with actress Shalini while having the conversation.

Ramesh adds that Ajith was non reactive to his statement and smiled.
It was only after talking to director Saran that Ramesh came to know about the affair of Ajith and Shalini. The 'Thodarum' film maker revealed that he himself was then sarcastically warned by Saran not to involve in such warning to Ajith!!
Later, Ramesh was one of the guests at Ajith and Shalini's wedding, said Ramesh in an interview with Wetalkies.

Ajith is currently busy with his upcoming venture 'Nerkonda Paarvai', the remake of Bollywood super-hit 'Pink' which features Vidya Balan who is making her first Tamil debut.

Bollywood actress Kalki Koelchin will also make her debut in the film in a rap song. As Kalki hails from Pondicherry, she is known to be fluent in Tamil.
