Vijay Deverakonda narrowly escapes car accident on Hyderabad-Bengaluru highway

In a close brush with danger, actor Vijay Deverakonda escaped unhurt after his car met with a road accident on NH-44, the Hyderabad-Bengaluru Highway, in Telangana’s Jogulamba Gadwal district earlier today. The actor was returning to Hyderabad from Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh when another vehicle rammed into his car from behind.

The Mishap on NH-44

According to reports, Vijay was travelling in a Lexus LM350h when the collision occurred. The impact caused minor damage to his vehicle, but no injuries were reported. In a shocking turn, the other car involved in the incident did not stop and allegedly continued towards Hyderabad.

Vijay’s driver immediately filed a police complaint, prompting authorities to register a case and launch an investigation into the hit-and-run. Thankfully, Vijay and his family reached Hyderabad safely after the accident.

Post-Engagement Journey Turns Eventful

The actor’s visit to Puttaparthi followed his private engagement ceremony with actress Rashmika Mandanna on October 3, attended by family members and close friends. After the ceremony, Vijay and his family visited the Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Prasanthi Nilayam Ashram, seeking blessings before heading back home.

Interestingly, fans who spotted Vijay during the visit noticed a ring on his finger, sparking excitement online over the couple’s hush-hush engagement.

A Close Call

While the accident could have been serious, Vijay’s quick-thinking driver and sheer luck ensured everyone’s safety. The actor is now back in Hyderabad, unharmed and grateful.
