Bhubaneswar: One of the most popular actors in Oriya film industry is Uttam Mohanty, who would receive the Chitralipi Sanmmana for lifetime achievement on March 26.
"For the invaluable contributions made to the Oriya film industry, Uttam Mohanty — the veteran actor of Oriya film industry is going to bag the prestigious Chitralipi Lifetime Achievement Award for the current year," Samarendra Mohapatra, Editor of Chitralipi, the famed trade magazine said.
Chitralipi — the magazine which institutes the award; wants to acknowledge the contributions made by the veteran actor on the occasion of Chitralipi Sanmmana-2011 which is to be held on 26, March 2011.
Uttam Mohanty started his career in the year 1977 in the film “Abhiman” and afterwards continued to rule the Oriya film industry as the biggest super star ever.
