Biggest Bollywood clash! Bhaijaan vs Badshah - Can fans can ever watch the epic fight?

The ambitious face-off between Bollywood titans Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in the upcoming film Tiger vs Pathaan has reportedly been put on indefinite hold. 

Sources indicate that the high-octane project, a cornerstone of Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe, has hit a significant financial roadblock before reaching the production phase.

According to a report by the Deccan Chronicle, the primary factor behind the stalling of the film is the astronomical budget.

Insiders suggest that the production house is struggling to balance the massive production costs with the heavy remuneration demanded by the two megastars. 

It is reported that with both actors commanding fees in the ballpark of Rs 100 crore each, the film’s budget has ballooned to a level that the studio currently deems unviable.

The report highlights that the rising costs of mounting a global spy thriller, complete with international locations and cutting-edge action sequences, have added further pressure on the studio's finances. 

A source noted that while the project remained a top priority following the box-office success of Pathaan, the current economic climate of the industry has forced a rethink.

The concept for the film was born out of the massive fan response to the superstars' cameos in each other’s respective films, Pathaan and Tiger 3.

While the showdown was intended to be the ultimate spectacle for the franchise, the project has now been stalled indefinitely.

As of now, neither Yash Raj Films nor the representatives of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have issued an official statement regarding the delay. 

For the time being, the two actors are focusing on their individual projects- Salman Khan with Battle of Galwan and Shah Rukh Khan with the upcoming actioner King.
