It has been five months since the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput but there has been no clear answer to all the questions raised by the fans and his family. As the case has come to a standstill, Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh has urged the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) should reveal if Sushant’s death was by murder or suicide.
"The people of Maharashtra and the country are eagerly waiting for the CBI's report on its investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. People ask me about the status of the case...I request the CBI to reveal whether it was a suicide or murder," Deshmukh said on Sunday.
“It has been more than five months since the investigation began but CBI has not revealed if actor Sushant Singh Rajput was murdered or he died by suicide. I request CBI to reveal findings of the investigation at the earliest,” he stated.
The CBI had approached AIIMS for a second opinion on the actor’s autopsy report. The forensic team has already submitted its report to the CBI in October and reportedly ruled out murder as a cause of Rajput’s death.
Fight For Justice By Family and Fans
Even after months, Sushant’s family and fans continue to fight for justice. The actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti launched a new digital campaign, #Love4SSR, asking his fans to come forward and help the needy.
She took to Twitter to share the initiative poster which said, "Open your heart and spread love. Pray and pay a tribute to SSR. Donate books to the poor or educate them. Donate food or clothes to the needy. Embrace Mother Nature and plant a sapling."
Veteran actor Shekar Suman also recently shared that as we move to a new year we might not have Sushant among us but his work will always keep him alive.
He tweeted, "The new year 2021 would be bereft of the presence of Sushant but his work will keep him alive forever. It's interesting to note that his birthday would fall on January 21, 2021. Starting and ending with 21. #Sushant's birthday."
As months have passed since the actor’s demise, SSRians are still seen trending their demand for justice for the Kedarnath actor.
