Streaming platform Netflix recently announced the release schedule for the fifth and final season of its globally acclaimed series, Stranger Things. The concluding chapter, one of the most anticipated television events of 2025, will roll out in three parts worldwide.

Release Dates for All Episodes

Stranger Things Season 5 premiered on November 26, 2025, with the launch of Volume 1, containing the first four episodes.
Volume 2, comprising episodes five to seven, will follow on December 25, 2025, offering fans a Christmas Day drop.

The series finale, Episode 8, is scheduled to release separately on December 31, 2025, closing out the story on New Year’s Eve.

The Story Returns to Hawkins Under Quarantine

Set in the fall of 1987, the final season returns to Hawkins, now under military quarantine, as the core group reunites to confront Vecna, the formidable antagonist introduced in Season 4.

Show creators Matt and Ross Duffer have confirmed that long-standing mysteries surrounding the Upside Down will be addressed using a mythology framework they developed during the first season.

Cast, New Additions and the End of a Cultural Phenomenon

The principal cast, including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke and others, will reprise their roles.

The final season also expands its ensemble with new additions, notably Terminator star Linda Hamilton, along with Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly and Alex Breaux.
