The third instalment from the “Dabangg” franchise has crossed the elite 100-crore mark which has been a common factor of almost all the Salman Khan movies. With the CAA protests going on around the country, experts had predicted low earnings for this Prabhudeva directed flick. But despite the initial damage, the protests caused “Dabangg 3” not only has been declared a hit at the mainstream level but are minting gold even in the regional market.
The entry of Kichcha Sudeep as the leading antagonist has also ensured a rise in the net income of the movie from the South Indian circuit. Thanking his fans for this success the “Tubelight” actor said, “In such troubled times (for the film) to do well is remarkable. All the credit goes to the fans. And fans have been very loyal to me and they have gone.”
