Sidharth Malhotra has finally got a hit film that he was looking for through “Marjaavaan.” Of course, it is too early to say whether it will be as big as “Housefull 4” or even “Kabir Singh.” But it surely is going to give a new life to the “Student of the year” debutant who had a series of flops after “Hasee Toh Phasee” with Parineeti Chopra.
The combination of Sid and Ritiesh Deshmukh has once again done wonders at the box-office as for both of them their major hit was “Ek Villain” that they did together a couple of years ago. Also starring Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh, “Marjaavaan” has for the first time shown that Sidharth Malhotra is a strong actor and can even do action scenes incredibly well.
Although there are people who still are not ready to accept Sid as the mainstream actor, many have acknowledged that a superstar has finally arrived and fans can expect him to do versatile roles apart from the regular chocolate boy-romantic lover characters. Some of the tweets that have been in favour of the “Brothers” actor have proved that people have finally started acknowledging him as a good actor.

Mixed Reviews From Critics But Film Is Superhit
The movie has received mixed reviews from the critics and some of them have also said that Sidharth Malhotra has done overacting in the two-hours plus running flick. While Tara Sutaria has been dubbed a bland, it is Ritiesh Deshmukh’s character that has been appreciated by almost everyone. However, these are the reactions of critics. But the masses have loved the role of a thug called Raghu played by Malhotra. Many have even compared his action of chewing matchstick similar to Deewar’s Vijay, a character made legendary by Amitabh Bachchan.
