Shruti Haasan is now returning to Telugu movies with her upcoming project “Krack.” After taking a sabbatical for two years to assess her film career at length, the daughter of Kamal Haasan now will work opposite Ravi Teja and says that she is very much thrilled to be a part of this movie.
In these last two years, while the “Ramaiya Vastavaiya” actress was away from the movies she focused on improving her musical talent. She formed a band and came up with her compositions and even presented them multiple times in London cafes. Post her comeback into movies, Shruti was also spotted wearing traditional pink saree in which she is looking very beautiful.

Shruti Is Happy To Be Back
The actress is very happy to be back in the movies. Her last movie released was “Katamarayudu” by Pawan Kalyan in 2017. While discussing her comeback, Shruti Haasan said, "It's always nice to do Telugu films. Although I am a Tamilian, Telugu audiences have always been appreciative. Moreover, my success began here. So, the Telugu industry is like my extended home."
Shruti is also going to lend her voice to the Tamil version of “Frozen 2” for Elsa. It is an English animation movie slated to release in India on December 22 in multiple languages. Post “Krack” Shruti will start filming for a Tamil flick titled “Laabam” opposite Vijay Sethupathi. Slated to release next year, it will be directed by SP Jananathan.
Shruti’s mother Sarika Thakur and her father Kamal Haasan divorced when she and her sister Akshara were quite young. Recently while opening on how their separation affected her and Akshara, Shruti said, “I was happy that they did what they did because they're both wonderful individuals who deserved happiness in their parameters. They were people before they were my parents and this is something that I always said. I understood this very early on."
