Wife charges $15 for s*x, demands money for talking; miffed husband knocks court's door

A Taiwanese man has been breaking the internet after he divorced his wife who charged him money every time they have s*x. The man claimed that she rationed sex to once a month in 2017, and then rejected him entirely in 2019 without any reason. Later, in 2021, she then began charging a fee each time he wanted to have sex or even talk to her, the South China Morning Post reported.

The couple Hao and Xuan reportedly tied the knot in 2014 and has two children. In his divorce petition, Hao has accused his wife of telling their relatives that he was ‘too fat’ and ‘incompetent’. He had earlier filed for divorce in 2021, but withdrew the lawsuit after his wife promised to make their marriage work.

However, Xuan continued to emotionally abuse Hao and began charging a fee of $15 (approximately Rs 1200) each time he wanted to have sex or even talk to her. The man claimed that he had not spoken to each other for two years, forcing him to sue his wife and seek divorce. They only communicated through messages when they had to.

A court in Taiwan granted a divorce to Hao, saying the relationship was ‘cold and difficult to fix’. However, his wife did not want to divorce and moved a higher court.

This isn’t the first such case in Taiwan. Earlier, there were reports that a woman charged $60 for sex with her husband and also charges fees for talking, chatting and having meals with him.
