Authenticity as a Work in Progress

She admitted that she does not have her life completely sorted, but she is willing to speak about it and try to be better, even if she makes mistakes along the way.

Social Media Pressures

Samantha spoke about the impact of social media, noting that constant exposure to the lifestyles of the ultra-rich can leave ordinary people feeling inadequate.

She stressed the importance of celebrities and influencers acting responsibly online and using their visibility mindfully.

Finding Purpose Amid Scrutiny

Sharing her journey from a humble upbringing to overnight stardom with Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010, Samantha revealed that fame, applause, and wealth did not automatically bring happiness.

She found fulfilment when she used her visibility to create value, emphasizing that what one does with their platform ultimately matters.

Challenging Herself as an Artist

Samantha also explained that her bold performance in the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise for the track Oo Antava was a personal challenge.

She had never considered herself to be sexy and knew no one would give her such a role, so she took it as a one-time opportunity to test her artistic limits.
