Having navigated a relationship that unfolded under constant public scrutiny- from their 2017 wedding in Goa to their separation four years later- Samantha admitted that the aftermath left her guarded. The experience reshaped her understanding of love, trust, and vulnerability. 

Learning to Love Again

Speaking about that fragile phase, Samantha said, "When I went through a separation, I closed up completely. I didn't think it would ever be possible to rely on someone else. Thankfully, I was vulnerable enough to accept that kind of love and friendship. And I'm a much better person because of the relationship I'm in. Because of the person Raj (Nidimoru) is," she said.

Her bond with Raj Nidimoru, one half of the acclaimed director duo Raj & DK, gradually evolved after they collaborated on The Family Man Season 2. What began as a professional association deepened into companionship, eventually culminating in their temple wedding on December 1, 2025, at the Isha Foundation in Tamil Nadu.

A Change Others Could See

Those closest to Samantha noticed the shift before she perhaps did. One friend sent her a heartfelt voice note saying, "This is the first time in a long time that I feel like you're not struggling to breathe."

The actor acknowledged this, saying, I'm not performing anymore. That simple admission carried weight- suggesting a newfound authenticity and emotional ease.

Samantha also addressed the complexities of enduring a personal upheaval in the glare of public attention. Being a celebrated actor meant every phase- joy, heartbreak, and renewal- became part of a larger narrative beyond her control.
