Samantha marries filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in an intimate ceremony, posts beautiful pictures from Coimbatore ritual

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on Monday morning in a private, spiritually enriched ceremony at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore. 

The couple exchanged rings and vows in the presence of close friends and family, marking the start of a new chapter in their lives.

A Sacred Ceremony at Linga Bhairavi Temple

The wedding took place at the serene Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the centre. Samantha and Raj performed the Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha, a ritual offered at Linga Bhairavi abodes that purifies the five elements within the couple, invoking Devi’s grace for harmony, prosperity, and spiritual alignment in their shared journey.

With only around 30 guests in attendance, the event remained discreet despite speculation circulating on Sunday night. Confirmation came when Samantha herself posted the wedding pictures on Instagram, captioned simply with the date: 01.12.2025, accompanied by white heart emojis.

Samantha’s Stunning Bridal Look

Samantha embraced tradition in a red and gold saree, her hair neatly tied in a bun adorned with fresh flowers, gold, and diamond jewellery. Raj complemented her look with a white kurta-pyjama and a beige Nehru jacket. The shared images capture tender moments—Raj placing a ring on her finger before the idol of Linga Bhairavi, the couple performing aarti, and walking joyfully under a floral doorway.

A Relationship That Grew Over the Years

The couple had reportedly been dating for a couple of years. Their bond strengthened while working together on The Family Man 2, Citadel: Honey Bunny, Rakht Brahmand, and Samantha’s debut production, Subham, where Raj served as creative producer. Their public appearances and social media posts over the past year fuelled dating rumours, though the two remained discreet.

Both entered this marriage after previous relationships—Samantha's earlier marriage to Naga Chaitanya ended in 2021, while Raj reportedly divorced Sshyamali De in 2022.
