Prashanth's Zombie Rowdy will be releasing next week and he is currently busy with its promotions. Importantly the director has already started penning the script for the movie's sequel and is interested in casting Samantha in the lead. Once it is complete he will be narrating it to the Oh! Baby actress.
Will Samantha Akkineni Give a Nod To Zombie Rowdy's Sequel?
The first movie is yet to come out. So the decision of Samantha whether to work in the sequel or not depends on two factors. First, she must find the sequel script interesting, and secondly, the first movie must get a good response from the audience. Zombie Reddy is Tollywood's first zombie movie and hence it will be quite interesting to see how the Telugu audience responds to this genre. Starring Anandhi, Teja Sajja, and Daksha Nagarkar in the lead, the success of this movie will decide whether there will be a sequel to this flick or not.
On the work front, Samantha Akkineni is currently busy shooting for her upcoming Tamil film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. She will next start shooting for Gunasekhar's Shakuntalam. Sam created quite a buzz in B-town during the promotions of The Family Man Season 2 which is the digital debut of the Southern diva.
However, due to the Tandav controversy, the makers decided to postpone the release of this Manoj Bajpai-led series. According to the latest reports, the second season of The Family Man will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from February 12 onwards.
