Saif Ali Khan seems to be nowadays more interested in doing negative roles or villainous characters. After receiving a lot of appreciation for his Khilji in Om Raut's Tanhaji, he is once again playing an antagonist in Adipurush opposite Prabhas.
The latest buzz suggests that Saifoo may be roped in to play an antagonist in yet another Southern biggie soon.
Saif Ali Khan and Rashmika Mandanna May Share Screen Space Soon
It is a known fact that post wrapping up the shoot of SS Rajamouli's RRR Junior NTR will start working for Trivikram's next. The mega-budget movie has already been finalized and interestingly, even Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in to play the female lead.
While there has been no official confirmation on this, she was spotted leaving Trivikram's office last week which triggered speculations that Rashoo has decided to sign on the dotted lines for NTR's next.
Now the news is that Trivikram's office is interested in casting Saif Ali Khan in the NTR movie as an antagonist. If everything goes as planned by the producers Harika and Hassine Creations and NTR Arts and director Trivikram Srinivas, fans might get to see Rashmika Mandanna sharing screen space with Saifoo soon.
The movie is expected to go on the floors in August this year while it will release in Sankranthi 2022.
It seems of late the Nawab of Pataudi has become a hot favorite of directors for the role of a villain. His performance both in Tanhaji and Tandav was highly appreciated. Interestingly, Saifoo has also attracted a lot of controversy for his statements or choice of roles.
Tandav makers are already facing legal battle whereas both Saif and Om Raut had to come out with clarification after the former made some irresponsible statement regarding his role as Lankesh in Adipurush. Even then, fans would love to see Rashmika Mandanna and Saif Ali Khan in one frame on the big screen.
