Saaho star Prabhas gained popularity overnight with the release of Baahubali: The Beginning. Crossing the boundary of the south film industry, Darling Prabhas win fans pan the country as well as abroad. Since the release of Baahubali, rumours of Prabhas dating his Baahubali co-star Anushka Shetty have been making their ways to different social media platforms.However, the duo has always refuted the rumours.
Recently, there was a buzz in the industry that Prabhas and Anushka are on house-hunting in Los Angeles, USA. Following this, once again Baahubali Prabhas opened up on dating Anushka Shetty rumours.
In a chat session with Mumbai Mirror, the Saaho actor again spoke out on the rumours of dating Anushka that have been making rounds from a long time. Prabhas denied the rumours of dating Anushka and mentioned it as baseless.
Even on Karan Johar's show Koffee With Karan- Season 6, Prabhas was asked about the rumours making rounds in the industry. To the question, Prabhas had replied, “Anushka and I are very good friends but if there was something more, wouldn’t someone have spotted us together in the last two years? The question was posed to me on Karan Johar’s show too. I let Rajamouli and Rana (Daggubati, Bahubali costar) answer it and even they stated that there was nothing between us. It wasn’t as if I had prepared them.”
Time and again, Anushka also has denied the rumours related to dating Prabhas.
Apart from the magnum opuses, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion directed by SS Rajamouli, the duo has worked together in films like Billa, Rebel, Mirchi, Vaaradhi and Billa 2. Craze for Prabhas and Anushka starrer films is high in South India.
With the release of Baahubali, Prabhas has turned dream-man of every girl. The Saaho star is even the most eligible bachelor in the film industry. In the glamour industry it is common to associate two actors who have worked jointly in number of movies and the pairing gets applauded by the fans. But rumours of Prabhas dating Anushka has gone a bit 'overboard' and it seems that the rumours will never die down. Hopefully, it is because fans admire the Prabhas-Anushka onscreen chemistry and wish to see the onscreen hit pair in reality.
Prabhas' next Saaho is slated to release on August 30. The action flick also stars Bollywood actors like Jackie Shroff, Mahesh Manjrekar, Chunky Panday, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi among others in major roles.
