SS Rajamouli is currently all focussed on shooting the climax of his ambitious project RRR that stars NTR and Ram Charan in the lead. Post the back to back success of two movies from the Baahubali franchise, the expectations from RRR movie are quite high. And the same goes true for any other movie that the director will helm next.
RRR Director's Next With Mahesh Babu Will Rely Heavily on VFX Technology
According to reports Rajamouli is already in talks with Mahesh Babu for his next film which he planned during the lockdown. The Magadheera director has decided to try out a new genre with this latest pan India flick. The movie will have a jungle-based adventure story.
The story's central idea is the brainchild of Rajamouli's father K. V. Vijayendra Prasad who is a famous Telugu screenwriter. As expected it will be a big-budget movie with elaborate use of VFX Technology that will portray a never before action-based adventure from African jungles.
Vijayendra Prasad has been the writer of superhit movies like Magadheera, Baahubali movies, and Bajrangi Bhaijan. Hence this upcoming movie from the RRR director is also expected to be equally grand, interesting and full of drama, twists, and turns typical for a mega movie.
Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu Collaboration To Go on Floors By Dec. 2022
Reports indicate that the RRR director is yet to lock in the script for his next with Mahesh Babu. He will lock the same with his father post the release of RRR. Even Mahesh Babu is busy with a few films in his hand.
According to a source, "Rajamouli and his father worked on this idea through the lockdown, and the director will now get into the space of writing the action-adventure again on wrapping up the work on RRR. While no shooting timelines are in place as yet, the earliest it can go on the floors towards the end of 2022. A call on the shooting schedule will be taken once the script is completely locked."
