Mumbai: Reliance Entertainment has tied up with California-based Talenthouse for a joint venture to focus on nurturing fresh and creative talent in the country and provide opportunities for collaboration at international level as well.

Talenthouse India, a social crowdsourcing platform, will connect with artists across films, fashion, music, photography and art on collaborative projects and embrace them at entry level, Talenthouse India CEO Arun Mehra told PTI.

Internationally, the platform has been provided for creative collaboration, he said. Talenthouse is an international platform that provides emerging talents and aspiring performers, artists, and creative individuals with opportunities to work with leading artists and brands, he added.

Talenthouse has been associated with globally renowned artists like Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Naomi Campbell, Rod Stewart, Brett Ratner, Queen, Kylie Minogue etc. to identify and provide a platform to fresh talent.

"Unique to the platform is the `Creative Invite` where a mentor artist or brand throws open an invite for various creative challenges. Our outreach team reaches out to relevant artists who, through Talenthouse, submit their entries on the website (www.talenthouse.com) and the best winning submissions get selected by Talenthouse along with the mentor artist or brand. Creative Invite` provides opportunities to emerging artists throughout the world to shortcut the usual career path by collaborating with established artists or brands and gain recognition and compensation for their work," Mehra said, adding that the entire process takes about 10 weeks.
Crowdsourcing with respect to Talenthouse is the art of sourcing any kind of talent for `Creative Invites` hosted by mentors/brands from a large community of artists on www.talenthouse.com.

Sourcing is done by our outreach team who reach out to creative artists through various on-ground and online initiatives, Mehra said. He further said that Talenthouse protected the artists` interests and therefore did not take an ownership position in any of the work submitted.

In India, Talenthouse has a base of over 10,000 artists and associations with approximately 350 schools from across various creative verticals providing a platform for all talent to come onto and hangout, Mehra said.

It is the only platform to boast of over 50,000 artists and a 40-member outreach across the globe, he added.
