Reese Witherspoon to star in Disney Wish List

The 35-year-old actress will play the role of a grown up women in the movie who must deal with the consequences of 10 wishes she made as a child, reported Huffington Post.

The film follows the story of a woman who made a wish on a coin thrown into a fountain as a kid but because the coin never reached the bottom, they don`t come true until 25 years later, when it becomes dislodged, hits the bottom of the fountain, and grants her all ten wishes that she was denied in childhood.

`Mrs Doubtfire` writer Randi Mayem Singer has written the script for the comedy project, which will be produced by Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray.

The movie was initially intended to have a male lead star, but is now being re-written to accommodate Witherspoon.

The actress who recently married Hollywood agent Jim Toth was last seen in romantic drama `Water for Elephants` with Robert Pattinson. Her next film will be `This Means War` alongside Chris Pine and Tom Hardy.
