Prabhas in Baahubali
Fans of Rebel Star Prabhas were left concerned after reports emerged that the actor sustained an injury while shooting for his upcoming period drama Fauzi. The incident reportedly occurred during a horse-riding sequence on the film’s set.
Fans Wishing Speedy Recovery
Interestingly, this is not the first time Prabhas has performed intense horse-riding sequences. The actor had earlier showcased his equestrian skills in the blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning and its sequel Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. In Fauzi, he will once again be seen riding horses as part of the film’s grand war backdrop.

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film marks the first collaboration between the filmmaker and Prabhas. Set in the 1940s during India’s freedom struggle, Fauzi is a large-scale patriotic war drama in which Prabhas reportedly plays a soldier in the Azad Hind Force. The project is planned as a two-part saga.
Dussehra Release Expected
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the makers are now targeting a Dussehra 2026 theatrical release instead of the earlier August Independence Day window. It is also learnt that Prabhas has allocated his dates exclusively to Fauzi until the shoot wraps up, underlining the film’s importance in his current lineup.
With the actor recovering well and continuing work on the ambitious project, fans are eagerly awaiting further updates from the team.
