Earlier, Raveena had turned de-glam for Raja Sen`s `The Laboratory`, a bilingual movie (Bengali and Hindi) based on a story written by Rabindranath Tagore. The movie, produced by Mudassar Aziz, Vishwajit Gaikwad and Anil Bohra, is a story of a boy, whose father - a naval officer, goes missing after a plane crash.

In this bilingual film, Raveena essays the role of a mother to a six-year-old boy and wife of the naval officer. Earlier, the actress had to take lessons about a Marathi dialect, spoken in the interiors of the state. The film, directed by Rishi Desphande, is expected to release this year.
