Mumbai: Telugu film star Rana Daggubatti has managed to find a strong foothold in Bollywood even before the release of his debut movie, "Dum Maro Dum".
The Rohan Sippy-directed movie, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu, releases on April 22.
Rana, who is the grandson of doyen of Telugu movies D Rama Naidu, is making his debut in Bollywood with the film.
Even before the release, Rana has managed to become a denizen of Bollywood, as he is frequently seen in Mumbai. He has been actively participating in social circles.
He is also friends with his co-stars Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu.
His frequency of coming to Mumbai has increased with Dum Maro Dum at the brink of release. "Seems like he has found his happy place- personally and professionally," sources close to him said.
