Rajkummar Rao has emerged as one of the most sought after versatile actors of Bollywood in the last couple of years. The success of “Stree” also confirmed that he can also deliver commercial hits and can be a force to reckon with at the box-office. The actor who lost both his parents says that he drowned himself completely in work post their demise to cope up with their loss.
Rajkummar’s father Satyapal Yadav died last month whereas his mother passed away while he was busy shooting “Newton” in 2017. While discussing how his parents felt about his work as an actor the “Judgementall Hai Kya” actor said, "Me being an actor gave them the most amount of happiness. I know they would've told me that work is important and 'go and finish your work'."
He further added, “Work was the only way I could keep myself out of it. I am glad I could show Made In China trailer to my dad when he was in the hospital.”
Rajkummar Rao Busts Myth About Audition
The actor who made it big in the film industry on his own said that his father taught him honesty and he was one of the most honest government officials he has ever seen. The “Made In China” actor also busted the myth about audition saying that there are actors who have a feeling that they cannot do well in audition and for some, it is a matter of ego.
While discussing his fetishes and fantasies on chat show Invite Only, Rajkummar Rao said if he ever indulged in a same-sex relationship, he would choose the “War” star Hrithik Roshan as his partner. When asked how he would react if he wakes up as Deepika Padukone, the actor said that he would simply do a love story with Rajkummar.
Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao have reunited yet again for “Judgementall Hai Kya” actor working for “Queen” which was the first blockbuster for the actress. Both of them are good friends. The host asked Rajkummar what he will find if he breaks into the bedroom of the “Manikarnika” actress. To this, the versatile actor said that he would surely find the script of “Queen 2” hidden somewhere.
