Mumbai: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan said that his upcoming film `Ra.One` will be made partly in 3D to attract the younger audience.

"We are carrying out a test to convert some parts of the film in 3D. Prime Focus is doing it for us. They have got a technology by which the film can be converted into 3D format, even after it is shot. But there are some reservations about it" Shah Rukh told reporters here last evening during the theatrical trailer of his film `Ra.one`.

"You have to shoot it in a certain way. The camera has to be steady. We are doing a test check. If it turns out to be good, then parts of the film will appear in 3D and will be an attraction for younger audience," he said.

"If it looks good, then we would go ahead with 3D. But, in case it does not look as good, then we will stick to the non 3D version. I believe 3D has to be shot in a different way," he added.

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, `Ra.one` is a science-fiction superhero film starring Shah Rukh, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles.

"It will take two-three months for this whole process.

So some part of the film like action will try to do it in 3D," King Khan said.

About the film, SRK said, "It is about G.One, who is a life giver. He is the hero and I am playing that role in the film."

"While, Ra.One stands for `Random Access Version One`, it also stands for Raavan, as mythologically, we consider him as a bad person made of the world`s ten most evil brains. Here in the film, it is like the connotation of ten evil happenings of the world that sums up to make a character Ra.One," he added.

The film is slated to release on October 26.
