“Baahubali” star Prabhas is currently quite busy promoting his latest action thriller “Saaho” which also stars Bollywood queen Shraddha Kapoor against him. Incidentally, it will be the first Tollywood movie of the “Aashiqui” actress. Prabhas is already a big name in Tollywood but now has plans to shift his focus on Kollywood movies.
The actor enjoys a huge fan following across India and even abroad and is one of the highest-paid actors in South Indian movies. His upcoming release “Saaho” is a 400-crore budget movie which is expected to get a massive opening. The movie will release on 30 August in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
Prabhas’ Fluent Tamil Surprises Everyone
Recently, the handsome actor was in Chennai for promoting the Tamil version of “Saaho.” He surprised the media by fluently conversing in Tamil. Incidentally, it was during this meeting that Prabhas expressed his inner felt desire to debut in Kollywood. The actor said that he was interested in acting in a straight Tamil film.
While interacting with the media, Prabhas said, “I was born in Chennai and I always want to act in straight Tamil movie.” The only thing that is coming in between Prabhas’ and his Kollywood debut is the right script.
Both Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhas are aggressively engaged in the promotion of their movie in the south. Their promotional activities kicked off immediately after the trailer of “Saaho” was released. Until now both the actors have toured almost five cities for promoting the action-packed flick.
While describing her experience of working with Prabhas, Shraddha said, “He is one of the sweetest, loveliest people I have come across. He has a very kind heart and he took care of me and my team like we were at home on set. “
So, fans should not be surprised if in the days to come they hear Prabhas debuting in a Kollywood movie.
