New Delhi: Kalpataru Das and Sarojini Hembram of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) were among 11 newly elected Rajya Sabha MPs who took oath in Parliament House today. Ranjib Biswal of Congress is scheduled to take the same tomorrow.

Das and Hembram resigned from the State Assembly recently for the Upper House while another BJD minister AU Singhdeo also elected as RS member had to give up the post as he didn't resign as an MLA.

The members took oath in presence of Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari today in his chamber.
