“People Pay to Pull Others Down”

Nidhhi shared that negative PR has become far too common today, affecting everything from BookMyShow ratings to IMDb reviews. According to her, a section of reviews and online attacks are completely paid for.

“There is so much negative PR. People spend a lot of money to pull others down. Sometimes, I feel they spend more money on negativity than on building themselves,” she said.

The actor also revealed that she herself recently faced a negative PR campaign. However, she chose to stop it immediately, stating that she prefers to grow positively rather than engage in dirty tactics.

Mental Health Impact on Actors

Talking about recent negative PR attacks on Varun Dhawan and Kartik Aaryan, Nidhhi said such practices are “horrible” and deeply affect actors’ mental health. She stressed that actors may appear strong in public, but are extremely sensitive and emotional inside.

“Public personalities are not public property. Everyone has parents at home and people to answer to. Feeling constantly attacked is not good for anyone,” she said, highlighting how damaging such campaigns can be.

Support for Varun Dhawan and Kartik Aaryan

Nidhhi described both Varun and Kartik as genuine people. She praised Varun for being child-like, kind, and supportive of newcomers, and appreciated Kartik’s hard work and journey in the industry.

Varun recently faced heavy trolling after the release of the Border 2 song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’, with criticism over his acting. Reports later suggested influencers were paid to malign his image.

On the work front, Nidhhi was last seen in The Raja Saab alongside Prabhas. Despite mixed reviews, the film has collected ₹200 crore worldwide, proving that content and audience support ultimately matter more than negativity.
