Navya, who has graduated from Fordham University last year with a major in digital technology and UX design, has recently launched Project Naveli, an organisation dedicated to building gender equality in India.

She has also co-founded a healthcare company, Aara Health that focuses on women.

Notably, Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat during a workshop organised by the Uttarakhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights in Dehradun on Tuesday said that women wearing ripped jeans cannot provide the right environment for children at home.

bare knees by wearing ripped jeans just to look like rich kids is the value given now which is just a race towards westernisation when the Western world today is following us. Ripped jeans pave the way for societal breakdown and is a bad example parents set for children,” he said.
