Stunning diva Sonal Chauhan, best known for her role in Emraan Hashmi’s Jannat, is all set to join the ensemble cast of the highly anticipated film adaptation of Mirzapur, the hit series from Prime Video.

Sources close to the production have confirmed that Sonal has officially come on board and will be playing a key role that adds a new dimension to the gripping storyline. Speculation around her involvement had been growing ever since she was seen at the film’s mahurat ceremony back in August.

An insider shared that Sonal’s character will bring a fresh and intriguing energy to the already intense narrative, enriching the plot alongside the already stellar cast. Though the makers are keeping her role tightly under wraps, her inclusion is expected to elevate the cinematic experience and add further depth to the storyline.

Also joining the cast are talented actors Abhishek Banerjee and Jitendra Kumar. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment, the film is slated for release soon.

In addition, Sonal Chauhan will also be making her debut in Punjabi cinema with Shera, opposite Parmish Verma. This action-packed film, written and directed by Savio Sanddhu, is set to hit theatres on May 15, 2026.
