Bhubaneswar: The low-pressure triggered rain will continue for more three days, Met department predicted.

A low pressure area formed over north-west Bay of Bengal, West Bengal and Odisha coast which is expected to be intensified from today. Under its influence, weather men forecast heavy to very heavy rain in coastal and interior Odisha. Besides, south west monsoon is currently active.

On the hand, water released from the Hirakud dam will reach Mundali in Cuttack today. Mundali now has 5.82 cusec water while Naraj contains 2.87 cusec water and 2.95 cusec water is flowing near Jobra barrage.

Flood water is being discharged from the biggest dam through 24 gates.
