Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan’s “Love Aaj Kal 2” released on 14 February got a decent start at the box-office although it was not liked much by the young viewers. While some called this Imtiaz Ali’s venture lacking anything new and original, most of the audience thought that Randeep Hooda and the music were the saving grace of the movie.
However, one thing is quite certain that the pair of Kartik and Sara looked quite great together and presented the same sizzling chemistry that their fans witnessed during the promotions. From going to various colleges and events to attending reality shows and chat programs, the leading stars did everything possible to ensure that the movie gets the right response and popularity.
Ranveer Singh Replaces Sara With Kartik In Poster
The promotion of “Love Aaj Kal 2” kicked off with the release of its first poster that showed Kartik Aaryan with his head down on a table with Sara holding him at the back. The poster became very famous. But now it is getting more attention because recently Kartik replaced the picture of Sara in that poster with that of Ranveer Singh.
It’s almost the same poster of “Love Aaj Kal 2” that has become an identity of the movie during the promotion but only with one difference. It has Ranveer Singh in place of Sara. The moment Kartik shared this poster on his social media account, Sara immediately came up with her reply. Interestingly, the poster is titled “Love Aaj Kal 2030” meaning the movie will be made a decade later. In her response, the “Kedarnath” actress said, “That was a quick replacement.”
It should be noted that “Love Aaj Kal” by Imtiaz Ali released almost a decade ago and starred Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. It was a big hit and had Rishi Kapoor in a special role similar to the one Randeep Hooda is playing in the recently released flick.
