Kristen Stewart can't wait to play 'superhero'

Los Angeles: "Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart wants to try something new in her career, like a superhero film!

The 25-year-old is known for her role as Bella Swan in the popular "Twilight" franchise.

At the the Sundance Film Festival premiere of her indie drama "Certain Women", Steward was asked how often she got offers from big movie franchises.

She told eonline.com: "I don't know. They're not too common. Trust me, I would love to find a big doozy of a movie that's interesting and worthwhile."

Later on, the actress was asked if the "interesting and worthwhile" movie was a superhero movie.

She said: "Maybe. Go print that. I can't wait to play a superhero."

In addition to showing interest in a superhero movie role, Stewart also expressed her desire to work behind the camera.

Asked if she would direct a film, the actress said: "Hopefully as soon as humanly possible... I really want to. I have to find the right thing. I started working when I was nine. I love this industry. I love what movies can do so I'll find my story."
